The Government has approved a new tax amnesty mechanism, aimed at cancelling interest, penalties, and other accessories owed by taxpayers.
The measure covers budgetary obligations outstanding as of March 31, as well as those with a payment deadline between April 1 and December 15, 2020.
It is important to note that the deadline for submitting the application for cancellation of these accessories will be December 15, 2020, by which date the principal obligations must have been paid and the overdue tax declarations submitted.
